Didn’t find our default categories expressive enough for your unique business? Well, now you can add your own custom Categories right from your Organization’s Settings (Click on ‘Categories’ to access your list, and find the prompt to add new ones at the bottom).
The benefit of using a default category is that as Abacus learns over time, we’ll be able to recognize and auto-categorize your expenses, i.e. JetBlue flight = Airfare. We’re excited to see what new categories and subcategories you all add. As you add, we will become smarter with which ones to surface up for all new Abacus users!
And all of these custom categories will still integrate with QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software you use.
